A welcoming, traditional community pub with a warm, laid-back atmosphere. It offers both a cosy bar area and a comfortable lounge. Fresh, home-cooked meals are served Wednesday to Sunday from 10am–2pm and 5pm–9pm, with a classic Sunday Roast available from 12pm–4pm. The rear patio becomes a real sun trap in the summer, and there’s a covered marquee area for when the weather turns. Inside, you’ll find a dartboard and three TVs showing matches on the terrestrial channels (no Sky or BT Sports). Live music is a regular feature most Saturdays. The pub serves two real ales—Rev James plus a rotating guest option. Dogs are very welcome and can even help themselves to treats at the bar.
